“Chuusei Yooroppa Kishidan niokeru Seiyaku no Imi” [Knightly Vows in Medieval Europe]

For those of you interested in further insights (or so) in chivalresque vows and knightly life in the European Middle Ages, here you will find my last contribution on the subject, "Chivalry Vows". In it, I examine some of the political problems of the knightly vows taken in front of the Prince or even by the Prince himself particularly from the end of 14th Century to the early 16th Century, mostly related to France and Burgundy. The bibliographical reference is as follows (click on it to download the full article in pdf):

Prof. Dr. Chiharu Fukui , Faculty of Economics, Chuo University, Tokio, has prepared the Japanese version.
