It happened like that. The very day she had decided that she would become a nun, she also picked up from school a list of militars from the region held prisoners in foreign camps. Instead of reading the list from top to bottom, she did it backwards. And because she was impatient, she chose the first name, an X. On her own pupil desk in the classroom, she started writing a letter to this one person whom she didn't plan to meet ever. It was an act of charity.
