Segunda lección “Corre Manuscrito” (por Fernando Bouza)

En esta segunda lección, pronunciada en la Bancroft Library (7 de febrero de 2007), Fernando Bouza articula dos cuestiones diferentes.

La primera acerca de la consideración que en la temprana Edad Moderna se daba a la palabra oral, las imágenes y el escrito, ya manuscrito, ya impreso, en términos de eficacia, solemnidad y memoria.

La segunda cuestión está en relación con algunos de los manuscritos conservados en la Bancroft Library, desde un inventario de la Biblioteca Imperial de Viena hasta los librillos de memoria o los cartapacios personales (como el de Hernando de Guevara) y el modo en que pueden ser leídos.
